Cutting Words From Stone

Today is not a good day.

Today was supposed to be my all-ready-and-raring-to-go day, my get up with the sun, get the words typed in, go a whole bunch of crazy, fun writing shit day.

Instead, today was illness, today was weakness, followed by hard-headed, refuse-to-quit, get those goddamn words typed in this afternoon.

And I got my day’s own new words, about 300 or so interspersed with the old words being typed in.

I’ll take it.

I am glum and grumbly and not too good company at the moment.

I did finish All The Windwracked Stars this morning, and I loved it. I squealed when, hunting around on her website, I found the announcement that there will be two more books set in the same world. I will be proceeding to hunt down near everything Elizabeth Bear has written.
